The Castlemont Home & School Club (HSC) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization made up of Castlemont Elementary School parents, staff and administration. With your support, the HSC organizes and sponsors many school programs and activities including Book Fairs, our annual Jog-a-Thon, Family Fun Nights, Life Lab Garden, assemblies, field trips and more.

In order to fund these activities, we hold several fund raisers throughout the year and we rely on your generous support through our various membership levels. Now, more than ever, your donation of time and money is critical to ensuring the continued funding of these programs.

To hear more about our fund raising efforts and to learn about ways you too can be involved, please attend our monthly HSC meetings. The HSC meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Staff Room or Cafeteria. We welcome all Castlemont parents to our meetings which include an update from the administration and the HSC, a discussion about upcoming events and activities, planning of volunteer efforts and a summary of fund raising activities. Come be a part of the discussion. If you’d like to learn about ways in which you can be involved, don’t wait for a meeting, get in touch with us right away.

In an effort to streamline communications and create a true sense of community, we have chosen to use the Groupery as a vehicle for helping manage communications, volunteer efforts and fund raising. Your registration at the site will ensure you are on the list for all HSC communications including flyers, announcements and important dates and provides me and the HSC Board a convenient way to get news out quickly.

As your HSC President, I will aim to provide comprehensive information about our programs, goals and challenges and I will do my best to be available and accessible.
